Lake Malawi Kayak Expedition 2011- Fund raising expedition to gathering funds to improve development help actions in the short-medium term:
- acquisition of furniture and equipments to the Nkholongue (Niassa Province, Moz.) community health center;
- raising awareness and involve donors in a campaign to provide solar panels in 4 health centers/maternity hospitals and 5 health outposts, serving more than 40.000 people;
- delivery of drugs (against malaria, diarrhea...) and acquisition/delivery of bed nets for children;
- training of a local kayaking guides team and helping to develop local ran sustainable ecotourism activities;.
- raising awareness among the lake communities to the navigation safety issues, helping to reduce the death toll in the lake.
